“I would like to let you know the impact of the Eat Smart Move More Weigh Less Program. I took the class with Greg as the instructor (I am sure that other teachers are great too). I can tell that Eat Smart, Move More, Weigh Less has been integral to my path towards health and wellness.
My mother lived with me and battled cancer for 9 years and she passed almost 2 years ago. I gained weight as I would mindlessly eat, did not do any exercise, had medical issues and overall did not feel well.
In the fall, I joined Eat Smart, Move More, Weigh Less and I am so grateful! I am now more mindful of what I eat, I have a fitness tracker now and routinely walk 8,000 to 10,000 steps a day, have lost more than 12 pounds, and feel so much better.
What I have noticed that I think is also important is that I have not had to go to the doctor nearly as much and my health has improved. I was going to the doctor every 4-6 weeks and now only go for check ups.
I am very grateful to Greg and Eat Smart, Move More, Weigh Less. Even though losing weight has been good, the bigger thing I noticed is that my overall health has improved and I am so happy to not be at my physician’s office all the time. I know I am more effective as an employee.
