We are excited to announce our guest blogger, Mendee. Mendee shares her thoughts on Eat Smart, Move More, Weigh Less and how it has impacted both her AND her husband! Congratulations to both of them!
“I have been very happy with Eat Smart, Move More, Weigh Less and with my weight loss. My husband and I took the class together and we have both had great success. It is much easier to have a partner in the whole process, to stay accountable to each other. I followed my instructor’s advice and set a realistic weight loss goal of 10% of my body weight, limiting my calories per day to 1200. I have met my goal, losing approximately 16 pounds. My most enjoyable way of burning calories is working in my vegetable garden. I also met my Smart goal I created at the beginning of the program, which was to finally fit back into my Scottish outfits. Both of my Scottish outfits fit much more comfortably now.
When co-workers have noticed my weight loss, I have encouraged them to sign up for the class. This has been a learning experience that we hope to incorporate into our lifestyle from now on. I still have a little way to go with my weight loss, but I know I can do it. I would like to lose another 10% of my body weight to get to my weight range for my height. Thank you to my instructor for always being so positive and encouraging! The online class time has been FUN. Thanks again!”
